History of The LINK
I was attending anywhere from 25-40 events a month networking my 'buns' off and found myself facing the task of piling over newspapers, emails, and asking friends about the 'HOT' events to attend that week, and month, and it struck me. "This is what everyone wants", a calendar list of networking events to attend, WITHOUT having to pile over the newspapers, etc.
In the spirit of networking, I decided to give it away for FREE. Wouldn't that allow us all to network better, by knowing where to go? Wouldn't it allow me to sell more insurance, of course. Through this vein of giving, the network of individuals on the list has grown and grown and grown. The number of events on the list has grown to large to list them all, causing me to limit and highlight the mainstream events that offer social and business networking in Las Vegas.
While networking for many people is about business, it is more about the social aspects of meeting people, offering advice, referrals, friendships and GROWING TOGETHER, however that is accomplished. I have worked very hard through the last 2 years plus to maintain and grow this list service, a calendar information source for local networking events. This website has been a dream of mine since day one, and today we continue to grow with The LINK.
